Your Right to Delete Your Data
The Acorn Studio respects your right to control your personal data. You can request deletion of your BreathScroll account and all associated data at any time using one of the methods below.
Request Deletion by Email
If you cannot access the app, or prefer to make the request by email, send a message to breathscroll@theacorn.studio with the following information:
- The email address associated with your account
- The subject line: Data Deletion Request - BreathScroll
- A brief confirmation that you wish to delete your account and all associated data
We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days of receiving your request. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request deletion, we will permanently remove the following from our systems:
- Screen Time Data
- App Selection
- Meditation Activity
- Subscription Data
Revoking Third-Party Access
BreathScroll integrates with third-party services. Deleting your BreathScroll account removes the access tokens we store, but you may also want to revoke BreathScroll's access directly from each service:
- Apple Screen Time API — manage connected apps in your account's privacy or security settings.
- Apple App Store — manage connected apps in your account's privacy or security settings.
Data Retention After Deletion
After deletion, we may retain limited information only where required by law (for example, financial transaction records) or in anonymized, aggregated form that cannot be used to identify you.
