The Acorn Studio ("we," "our," or "us") operates BetterForm. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our application.

We collect minimal data. BetterForm is designed with privacy as a core principle.

• Video & Annotations: Imported and recorded clips, plus the annotations and sync offsets you create, are stored locally in the app sandbox. They are never uploaded or transmitted.
• Body Pose Data: AI body-pose skeletons are computed on your device using Apple Vision and cached locally. Pose data is never recorded off-device or transmitted.
• Usage Analytics: If enabled, we collect anonymized usage data such as which features you use to improve the app. This data is linked to an anonymous device identifier, not your real identity.
• Subscription Data: Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but not your payment details.

The limited information we collect is used to:

• Provide and maintain the app's functionality
• Respond to your support requests
• Improve the app based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns

We use industry-standard security measures to protect any data associated with BetterForm. Where possible, data is stored locally on your device using secure storage mechanisms.

We use the following third-party services:

• Apple Vision: For on-device body-pose detection. Video frames are processed locally and never leave your device.
• PostHog: For optional anonymized product analytics including feature usage. Data is linked to an anonymous device identifier and is not used for cross-app tracking.
• Apple App Store: For subscription management and payment processing.

BetterForm is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
